Need the perfect kid’s birthday gift idea? Look no further than this Disney iHome Portable Speaker Case! My son’s 6th birthday was two weeks ago and this sound system was a huge hit! In fact, he carried it around at his celebration and even started a dance party. Because of the cute characters to choose from, it also was adorable to see my 1 year old twins dancing to the tunes, too! After popping in an iPod, you can zip up the case and start rocking out as music is great for babies on up to, well, I’ll leave my age out of it, but will admit I got some dancing in, too.

The last Birthday gift my kids gave to their friend was a gem and mineral science kit, by Smithsonian. I like it when my kids give and receive what I like to call “smart gifts”. We also put a t-shirt and matching bracelet in the gift bag, as well. I stock up on cute sale t-shirts, in my children’s sizes, to add to presents too.
MArble run for my 4 years old nephew.
Happy blogoversary! And cute speakers! Lately I’ve been giving Mo Willems books for birthdays. The Knuffle Bunny series and Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus/Stay Up Late/Eat Hot Dogs, etc.
My daughters latest birthday gift was the leap pad and she still loves it 4 months later!
My daughter has two friend’s with birthdays close together (all three of them are friends from preschool). We like to buy them both outfits that are similar but not exactly the same. And then my daughter gets an outfit too. When they have sleepovers to hang out together they have fun wearing their “friend” outfits.
Last birthday party my kids went to we gave a gift card-yes it was an 8 year old’s party, so he was a little older! My kids LOVE receiving gift cards and it is a fun outing to go to the store and pick something out. Plus, it is super easy for the gift-giver
We gave board games at the last birthday party we went to. They are a great leaning tool and help the family interact together!
Handsdown her favorite birthday gift was the Learning Tower by Little Partners (thanks, grandparents!)! Fantastic way to safely cook in the kitchen with your little one….plus you can get a chalkboard/easel attachment and turn it into a puppet theater!
Happy Anniversary!! Last gifts for my kids were Legos for my 5.5 year old son and Calico Critters for my 2.5 year old daughter. Legos are my go-to gift for kids (age appropriate) – who doesn’t love Legos?
I also really like to give board games that the child can play with siblings and parents.
Happy Birthday Breezy Momma Blog! The most recent gift my two oldest boys, ages 6 and 4, gave their friend when she turned 5 recently was a gift put together by a few of my friends and some home made crayons. My spouse is a full time seminary student and I’m on baby leave from my part time job at our local YMCA. One friend gave me a cute book but Sally Loyld Jones on marriage, written to girls. Another friend picked up a small basket, pack of princess pens, 2 pack of kid lip gloss, a princess water bottle and a butterfly puzzle for our local Target dollar section. Their friend loved her gift and especially loves her very own pens!
I love that fact that my friends shared such love and kindness! It made the gift truly one of the best we’ve given from our children!
My child received a basket filled with puzzles, coloring books, crayons, reading books, barbie, and some healthy snacks for her last birthday gift from a friend.
The best gift my daughter ever received . . . by far . . . was an overhead projector. She was motivated to make the request having watched her 3rd grade teacher use one in class each day. We caved in and got one for her and it was used almost daily — playing school/teacher, drawing posters, performing silhouette puppet shows, but thankfully no motivational speaking! The projector was a hit with all her friends. It provided hours and hours of creative, dramatic play!!!
